Dieckhoff's activity lies within the health sector. Thus environmental compatibility and sustainability traditionally play an important role. Even during the development phase of new products great attention is paid to environmental compatibility.

Dieckhoff keeps ecological responsibility in regards to its final products in mind, particularly in terms of sustainability as laid out in the UN's Bruntland-Report. For years the company has therefore chosen to cooperate only with suppliers meeting production standards acknowledged as environmental friendly. Thus, the majority of materials processed by Dieckhoff are produced in an environmentally friendly way, contain less harmful substances, can be fully recycled and meet the "Oekotex"-certificate.
